Man with down syndrome giving a thumbs up

In a peer group, you can meet others who know what it’s like to live with disability.
You will meet a group facilitator who has lived experience.

The group facilitator is someone who has been through similar things.
They help by sharing their story and offering support.

Friends working together

Peer groups are safe places where you can:

  • share your story
  • learn from others
  • talk about your ideas and goals
